Badger Football 2008 Outlook
Lance_davis_small-medium 07:53 AM on Saturday Aug 30, 2008

I've broken the UW football schedule down to three categories....comfortable wins, difficult and concerning.  Here's how I see it.

Comfortable wins:

Akron.....Don't expect much of a challenge here from a bad Zips team.

Marshall.....Will likely hang tough for a half before fading.

Indiana.....Not a good team, this Hoosiers squad won't be bowling this season.

Minnesota.....Badgers will continue to dominate this series at Camp Randall.

Cal-Poly......Should be an easy season finale on Senior Day.

Difficult:

Michigan.....Much rather play this Wolverines squad in September then October or November.

Penn State.....Don't see Badgers losing after last season's debacle at Beaver Stadium.

Illinois.....Expect a high-scoring game that Bucky will win late.

Iowa....Always tough to win in Iowa City, even if the Hawkeyes aren't great.

Concerning:

Fresno State....First road test could be the biggest. Expect the Badgers to have their hands full.

Ohio State.....I think the night winning streak at Camp Randall is over. The Buckeyes are legit!

Michigan State.....UW has been prone to a surprising conference road loss.

The Badgers will finish the regular season 9-3 and 6-2 in the Big Ten. Looks like another January 1st bowl game.
