What Marshall Brings to the Table

Last year I covered the Miami Hurricanes and I got to see the Marshall Thundering up close, here is what I noticed....well as much as I could notice in a 31 to 3 loss at the hands of the Hurricanes.

Darius Marshall is legit....

I didn't get to see a ton of Marshall during his game against the 'Canes (3car 14yards) but as evident by his overall numbers last year (631 yards, 3TD) he's going to be a name to remember in college football.

Marshall was making his college football debut when I saw him in Miami, this year he ran for 115 yards on 20 attempts against Illinois State.

Darius Passmore is a game breaker.....

Passmore only had two catches against the 'Canes but one was for 44 yards and in one game this year he has two touchdowns and 111 yards receiving. He could make some big plays against a secondary that looks suspect.

The one guy I didn't see was freshman quarterback Mark Cann but as his numbers show (2 TD in first game) he can make some plays. Rivals.com rated him 6 out of 10 and at 6'5 210 he's got the body to be a big time college QB.
